The ICM Code of Ethics is a fixed reference point for our employees and remains a standard for all stakeholders.
It concerns acting professionally and conducting business with integrity, the reputation of our clients and our own, the quality of the working environment, working together, and considering the ethical dimensions of our actions.

The Code of Ethics is intended as a way of being for employees and a statement towards all stakeholders.
It must be used as a guideline for all those who work in or for ICM, in order to act correctly and in accordance with a common understanding of appropriate behavior.

DECLARATION OF IMPARTIALITY

ICM is committed to ensuring full impartiality and independence at all stages of its assessment activities, in accordance with the requirements of ISO/IEC 17021-1:2015. We ensure that certification decisions are made without any conflict of interest, protecting the integrity of the process and maintaining the trust of clients, stakeholders, and accreditation bodies. Through rigorous internal policies and procedures, we constantly monitor our operations to prevent external or internal influences that could compromise objectivity and transparency. This commitment is essential to ensuring a reliable, fair certification service that complies with the highest international standards.

GENDER EQUALITY POLICY

We are committed to building an inclusive, fair, and respectful work environment by adopting a Gender Equality Policy compliant with UNI/PdR 125:2022. We promote the removal of all gender-related barriers, combat stereotypes and inequalities, and enhance talent in all its forms through active inclusion policies, ongoing training, and constant monitoring of our internal processes. ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY

We adopt a Zero Tolerance Policy towards any form of violence, harassment, discrimination, mobbing, or unethical behavior, both within the workplace and in our relationships with stakeholders. We firmly believe that respect for human dignity is a non-negotiable value and constitutes the essential foundation for a fair, inclusive, and quality-oriented organization. All staff are called upon to actively contribute to creating a climate based on trust, listening, fairness, and shared responsibility, consistent with the principles established by UNI/PdR 125:2022 and international best practices in gender equality and organizational well-being. Our policy includes clear and confidential reporting procedures, a constant commitment to training and prevention, and the adoption of timely and proportionate action in response to any non-compliant behavior. No form of intimidation, abuse of power, or discriminatory behavior will be tolerated. We foster an organizational culture in which respect for individuals is at the heart of every professional relationship.

PARENTHOOD POLICY

We recognize the social and organizational value of parenthood and are committed to actively supporting it through a dedicated policy. We promote a work environment that respects the time and needs of mothers, fathers, and all caregivers, fostering a sustainable balance between work and personal life. In line with UNI/PdR 125:2022, we adopt concrete measures to protect maternity and paternity rights, combat all forms of direct or indirect discrimination, and enhance the role of parents as a resource for the organization. We support flexibility, inclusion, and facilitated return to work after leave, thus contributing to a more equitable and respectful work culture.

WORK-LIFE BALANCE AND INTEGRATION POLICY

We actively promote a Work-Life Balance and Integration Policy, committed to promoting a work-life balance through concrete measures of flexibility, organizational well-being, and inclusion. We believe that balancing work and life is not just an individual right, but a strategic factor for quality, motivation, and sustainable growth. In accordance with UNI/PdR 125:2022, we adopt organizational, training, and management tools that allow all employees to work in a context that respects personal and family needs, thus contributing to the creation of a fair, productive, and humane environment.

REPORTS OF ABUSE

ICM adopts a clear and transparent procedure for reporting abuse, discrimination, harassment, and unethical behavior within the organization. This procedure provides all employees, collaborators, and stakeholders with a secure and confidential channel to report any discomfort or violations of rights. Reports can be made through dedicated channels, which ensure confidentiality and the absence of retaliation against those who report in good faith. Each report is treated with the utmost seriousness and promptly, following a defined process that includes investigations, corrective actions, and support for those involved. We are committed to promoting a safe, respectful, and inclusive work environment, where any abuse is prevented and rigorously addressed, in accordance with the principles established by UNI/PdR 125:2022.

The accreditations obtained by ICM demonstrate competence, impartiality, and independence, and are recognized at international level, confirming the expertise acquired in the field of certification that it issues daily to its clients.
